“Lost 45s” guest Susan Jacks of the Poppy Family has revealed that she has been in progressively-increasing stages of kidney failure since the early ’90s and now is preparing for dialysis and hoping for a kidney transplant. Susan, along with her ex-husband Terry Jacks, made up the Poppy Family and had a #2 hit, “Which Way You Goin’ Billy?”

Mary Travers, who as one-third of the hugely popular 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary helped popularize such tunes as "Puff (The Magic Dragon)" and "If I Had a Hammer," died Wednesday after battling leukemia for several years. She was 72.
