Elton John checked into a Los Angeles hospital Wednesday, where doctors diagnosed the 65-year-old singer with a serious respiratory infection, his publicist said Thursday. Bow Wow Wow were around officially for just three short years from 1980 to 1983, recording three albums (one of which was cassette only) and scoring a number of international hits including "I Want Candy." For the first time in almost thirty years, the group will tour the U.K., starting April 19. No plans have been announced for the U.S. as of yet.

Robin Gibb, formerly of the Bee Gees, is reportedly battling liver cancer, according to multiple British outlets. Gary Garcia, who teamed with Jerry Buckner to perform the 1982 hit 'Lost 45' "Pac-Man Fever," a song synonymous with 1980s pop culture and America's early love affair with arcade gaming, died yesterday at his home in Englewood, Fla. He was 63.

An upcoming reissue of the classic Rolling Stones album "Some Girls" will include a recently discovered track which will also be released as a single. "No Spare Parts," which was recorded in Paris and was recently discovered by producer Don Was for inclusion on the new editions of "Some Girls" due out on November 21, tells the story of a trip from Los Angeles to San Antonio.
