6/20/12 – Wham Reuniting!

Wham! are reportedly reuniting for a 'one-off pop extravaganza' to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their debut hit. George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley announced their decision to split in 1986, but according to British newspaper The Daily Mirror they have decided to reform to mark the special occasion. The publication says fans should expect a 'one-off pop extravaganza' from the musical duo.

Gary Brooker, lead singer of Procol Harum, fell in his South African hotel room on Tuesday while on tour and is in serious but stable condition from a fractured skull. Bow Wow Wow were around officially for just three short years from 1980 to 1983, recording three albums (one of which was cassette only) and scoring a number of international hits including "I Want Candy." For the first time in almost thirty years, the group will tour the U.K., starting April 19. No plans have been announced for the U.S. as of yet.

3/2/12 – Englebert Humperdinck to Eurovision

Engelbert Humperdinck will represent the UK at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. Engelbert will perform a new song. Engelbert has been in the studio in London working on his next album. In a statement he said, 'I am so thrilled to have been asked by the BBC to represent the UK at Eurovision 2012!..without hesitation I happily accepted." Many hit songs got their start in Eurovision, including ABBA's "Waterloo."

11/22/11 – Robin Gibb has cancer (updated)

Robin Gibb, formerly of the Bee Gees, is reportedly battling liver cancer, according to multiple British outlets. Gibb, 61, has been undergoing treatment for several months and was rushed to the hospital last week after an emergency call was placed from his home.
